Automatic drive commands are not executed.
Remedy:
- Press the Manual/Auto button repeatedly until the indicator lamp lights up green.

Remedy:
- Thoroughly clean the window and the suction cup.
Problem:
The roller shutter performs automatic drive commands, although it has been set to manual by another transmitter or by a central control unit.
Remedy:
The roller shutter performs automatic drive commands, although it has been set to manual by another transmitter or by a central control unit.
Remedy:
- The transmission of automatic drive commands by the sensor is not affected by the manual/auto changeover of an external transmitter or the central control unit. Press the MANUAL/Auto button at the light sensor repeatedly until the indicator lamp lights up red.
The shading solution rises automatically. The shading solution automatically lowers (sun threshold exceeded), but at what seems to be the same brightness (sunshine) rises again after about 15 minutes.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- Raise the sun threshold, turn clockwise (higher number).
No automatic lowering after manual raising. After the sun threshold was exceeded, the shading solution was automatically lowered, and then raised manually. After this, there is no more automatic lowering, even though the sun continues to shine so that the sun threshold is exceeded.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- The automatic function was bypassed by the manual raising. Use the Manual/Auto button to switch the sensor into manual mode (LED lights up briefly red), and then press the Manual/Auto button again to switch it back into auto mode (LED lights up briefly green). If the threshold is exceeded, the shading solution will now travel down after about 3 minutes.
The automatic function does not correspond to the desired threshold. The shading solution moves down too early or too late in response to the sun protection function or to the twilight function.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- At the time at which you personally feel that the sunlight is too strong or that the twilight threshold has been reached, and that a downward or upward travel should occur, turn the sun or twilight threshold controller at the relevant threshold regulator (sun protection or twilight function) slowly to the left or right, until the LED just changes from red to green. The current sunlight or twilight value is now set. After about 3 minutes, the device will now move up or down. In the future the shading solution will always move up or down under these light conditions as the threshold value is exceeded or fallen below.
Problem:
The shading solution does not automatically move up
in the morning. After moving downwards in the evening in response to the twilight function, the shading solution does not automatically move up on the following morning.
Remedy:
The shading solution does not automatically move up
in the morning. After moving downwards in the evening in response to the twilight function, the shading solution does not automatically move up on the following morning.
Remedy:
- The shading solution must be raised manually. If automatic upward movement is wanted, a transmitter with a timer function must be used. This can automatically raise the shading solution according to a switching time or the astronomical function.
The shading solution always stops at the same place on the downward direction. When the light sensor is operating automatically, the shading solution always stops at the same place in a downward direction, and does not reach the sensor.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- An intermediate position has been programmed. To clear it, take the shading solution to the upper
limit position, then press the down-button on the hand-held transmitter twice in rapid succession (double-tap). The shading solution runs to the intermediate position. Then press the stop and down buttons at the same time and hold them down until the drive clicks twice. The intermediate position is now deleted. The next time, the shading solution will travel down until the sensor is reached.
The shading solution moves upwards too soon. Although the sun threshold has been set properly, the shading solution moves upwards too soon in the sunlight.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- Position the sensor in such a way that nothing casts unwanted shadows on the sensor, or remove the reason for the shading.
Problem:
The shading solution does not move down at twilight. The twilight function does not move the shading solution down.
Remedy:
The shading solution does not move down at twilight. The twilight function does not move the shading solution down.
Remedy:
- Adjust the twilight threshold, and make sure that no external light sources are affecting the
sensor.
No automatic function at certain times. Sometimes the automatic function is not carried out when the sun threshold is exceeded or the light falls below the twilight threshold.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- Replace the battery, only using the recommended battery type CR2032 from Varta or Renata.
No function after changing the battery. The sensor no longer functions after changing the battery.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- Remove the battery, and use a small screwdriver to bend one or both pins so that they are straight. When reinserting the battery, make sure that the battery is first attached to the pins for the positive polarity.
Drive not functioning, transmission pilot light lights up.
Remedy:
Problem:Remedy:
- Reduce distance from receiver.
- Program the sensor into the receiver.
Drive not functioning, transmission pilot light remains off.
Remedy:
Remedy:
- Insert the battery correctly or insert new batteries.
